The room was much better then we expected from the pictures. It is quite small but well arranged so felt more spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful and open 24/7. There was a taxi spot right outside of the door so that was ideal.

Behind the bright lights of Chinatown is great value dim sum, while Little India is a sensation for the senses. Fabulous garden city state, beautifully green, with great architecture both heritage and modern. Striking meshing of modern superstructures and urban green spaces.
Well worth a visit. Clean, safe, vibrant, multi-cultural.
So much to see and do.
Very well organised. Great public transport and taxi options, buses excellent and very reasonable. MRT clean, well laid out and reasonable, tourist passes available for various numbers of days allowing multiple trips per day, card refundable at the end of your stay.
Friendly. Helpful locals.
Supertree Grove, the Cloud Forest in Gardens by the Bay, Marina Bay Sands observation deck, Bird Paradise and the Orchid gardens at the National Botanic Garden all well worth visiting, as well as general downtown area, Chinatown, Kampong Glam and Sentosa island and the SEA aquarium.
On my next trip I'd probably avoid Nasi Lemak, but I'd definitely have Laksa again!

I love Singapore, my 2nd visit. We stayed there for 10 days. Its very place wherever you go and getting around is very easy. While we were at the airport waiting for our ride, we saw passengers going to the bathroom, changing, and just leave their suitcase unattended. Nobody even came near to check on their suitcase. We went to several night hawker neighborhood, they all taste good to me. Gardens by the Bay light show was stunning and is one of my favorite spots

It was really nice not having to push all our activities and viewings into a few days.. 10 days was just the right amount of time to do everything without being hurried and time poor. After 30 odd years since our last visit it was great to see how the country had improved leaps and bounds. Loved everything, shopping, gardens, tours. , and most people ready to help us when we were lost or unsure. Our accommodation at the Ibis had everything you needed, pool, meals, shuttle bus and friendly staff.

Singapore is a must visit once in your lifetime esp with family. It is clean, structured, fun. Too many attractions within a small area.. easy to travel across. Importantly it is one of the safest cities. Great place for seafood lovers.
With all this comes few cons : it is bit expensive. climate is humid all year long . less choices for pure Vegetarians (unless you plan upfront to stay near to little india area)
Overall must visit.
We booked the hotel when we could not get on a flight fm Singapore to Sydney at Changi Airport.
Price was reasonable for a stay of 6-7 hours (overnight). Airport Hotels in Singapore are expensive; Hotel 81 staff were efficient n room met our needs for the purpose of our stay. Also, it’s on a busy street with local restaurants, coffee shops in vicinity even though we didn’t need it but the room was very quiet, possibly because we requested it n got a room not facing the Main Street. Reception staff were responsive and helpful.
Very friendly staff. Overall very clean. Rooms are very spacious for Singapore and the TV had chromecast integrated. Bedding was very comfortable for my taste. They accommodated my request for a vegan breakfast and overall very supportive.
The pantry was great with free coke, RedBull and other soft drinks as well as small snacks.
But it is quite pricy even for Singapore, but you are very close to Orchard Rd. and the rooms are larger compared to most other hotels in the area.
The room is comfortable for a 2 nights stay. Staffs are efficient, friendly and accommodating. Hot shower with good water pressure and the lighting is also great. The hotel is very conveniently located with lots of food options nearby whether fast food, hawker or nice upscale restaurant. It is surrounded by MRT stations - Bencoolen and Rochor which makes travelling to Orchard, Marina Sands and Harbourfront all very easy. Will be my choice whenever I come to visit Singapore.
To be fair: to Singapore standards this hotel is probably OK-ish. Having said that, there are other large, expensive cities in the world.... While they are wonderful top end of the range hotels in SGP, its seems that medium market level hotels are really difficult to find. Clover is probably not ranking too bad compared to the peer group. In order to enjoy, you must be a huge fand of damp / poorly aired rooms and tiny rooms.
No breakfast included but a mini kitchen allowing customers to prepare their own food.
The location is perfect to start discovering the city.
All equipements are included in a small space (like most hotels in Singapore), including an iron.
Everything very clean but no cleaning service is included unless the stay is longer than one week
We usually prefer to go to small hotels but it was difficult tofind one in Singapore. Therefore we choosed the Swissotel. We have been positively surprised by this hotel and the staff.
The quality of the bed is excellent. The most positive point is the pool: We enjoyed a lot the pool and the pool bar.
One of the best hotels in Singapore. The staff was very attentive and polite, and there are 5 restaurants available inside the hotel (the desserts at Colony Bakery were very good). During my stay I never encountered any misunderstandings. The panoramic view of MBS was unforgettable. Highly recommend!
Most hotels in Singapore are close to all transport and shopping malls and no exception to this hotel
Up graded to larger family room
Good reception staff
Large room/shower and comfortable bed
Hotel in older part of Singapore adding to the charm which I enjoyed
The breakfast did not have a lot of choices but most of the hotels in Singapore don't event offer breakfast. The room was new, clean. The staff was very professional. The evening cocktails and snack is top. The cleaning service is also very good.
Price is relatively cheaper than typical hotels in Singapore, location is good near Katong area where you can find a lot of good foods, the staffs have been quite kind and helpful too.
Location is good because of MRT and bus stop near by but so many other hotels offer the same because Publix transportation is amazing in Singapore.
The decoration and style is nice.
A cozy and pleasant apartment at the heart of Singapore, next to the Downtown train line station. It's an apartment but the staff can provide hotel services.
Clean. modern and comfortable. Bit expensive but most hotels in Singapore are on the pricy side. The room was well appointed and modern. Good breakfast
